SYNTHASHER (still in production)
Started Jan 2024 Smazlabz latest offering to the world is Synthasher. Its a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) that does many cool things, aimed for those who enjoy toying with sound samples and creating their own tunes. Synthasher includes its own self writing tune ability with thousands of variable options all automated, yet also at the hands of the user when desired. Currently Synthasher has composed 3 albums, receiving much acclaim and positive accolade from all who have heard what Synthasher can create. Similar to and inspired by Octamed and other trackers.
MICROBIALS (clone of the Amiga game MICROBES - which itself was inspired by LLAMATRON)
It's a self centred game with gazillions of weird noises, retro sounding madness, odd transforming microbial creatures. Offering hours of challenging addictive gameplay, wacky bosses and overall masses of shoot 'em up action with stackable weapon upgrades to cause maximal damage as viricidal instances become more intense, requiring skill and refinement to progress.
CRAZY ALIENS
Crazy Aliens - A revamped, far technologically advanced version of the classic space invers game from 1979, loads of levels, dual co-op player option, tonnes of fun and thousands of things to blast to kingdom come.
GRANAGRAMS
A word/memory game that teaches new words, helps spelling and tests mental agility along with memory recall. Can assist in learning English words, their pronunciation and spelling. Contains a 100 categories and music (with copyrights remaining with their owners) from 1890-1918.
SMAZOGZ EMULTIVATOR
A simple to use Front-End GUI that brings together 19 consoles/computers into one program using freely available emulators found on the internet, infinite respect to those who created these pieces of software - Smazogz Emultivator I hope will be a positive testament to everyone's success/enjoyment and wish credit due to those who deserve it. Grants access to a library of 100,000+ games and comes with much of the setting up done. A very intuitive piece of software designed to make playing those games from last century with ease.
SMAZPLAY C64
Transfixed for hours, months and collectively years to the classic C64 (as well as a Speccy 48k) from the age of 10 is the inspiration of this project. Stemming from Smazogz Emultivator; but specifically designed for C64, brings ability to watch demos, play games and listen to chip music. All copyrights remain with the copyright holder.
